every time that i shave with a new razor, for the first couple of weeks it always cuts me, & i get really bad razor burn. I shower in warm/hot water, & i always wait atleast ten minutes before i shave. any advice?

does anyone know any aftershave that is not tested on animals,I’m looking for well known brands.Thanks

as im 16 i can’t buy lighter fluid of Zippo lighter fluid can i use anything else like lynx liquid aftershave or anything else i can buy?

Does it work? How did it feel? Did it irritate you? would you recommend it? im considering doing this. is it better than shaving with the razor?

What’s inside them that’s so harmful? Isn’t it just shaving cream?

I don’t want to ask my mom for a razor for down there. Can I just use my regular razor?

Ok ladies, I shave my whole bikini area. I can only shave every 3-4 days without getting razor burn. I would have to shave every other day to keep it completely shaved all the time & that’s the way I want it. So, how do I keep completely hair free all of the time without the razor burn??? Please help!!!

To start i have almost black hair so my stubble is very noticeable & i was wondering if there is a way to eliminate that with just a razor & normal shaving cream/gel.

i’ve decided to switch to using a razor as i have been finding that waxing & hair removal cream takes up more time than i have, so i bought one of those gillete embrace razors.
as i’ve never used a razor before, i was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how to get a nice smooth finish, & how to avoid cutting yourself! thanks

Also shaving my thighs? I shave them but for some reason it’s like I have a dull razor, it barely shaves.

regular shaving cream will clog up your electric razor. They have conditioners for that. I use one on the weekends, & it has a container conditioner that feeds automatically to the face while shaving.

i always but shaving gel whats for sentsitive gel but i get razor pumps but they never seem to go away..is it cuz i use sentsitive shaving gel i got good razor tho..but when i buy shaving gel it always says sentsitive skin on it i havent seen other skin types on them..now i bought the other one il try it maybe now the red dots will dissepeare.they ben always onmy legs iduno why they never go away..

Do what Kayla says, & remember to stay away from conventional lotions. Just rub in a few drops of natural vegetable oil. The health risks just aren’t worth it when a natural solution actually works better.

Yes, it works great. I did it to my boyfriend, & everything went ok! He was hair free & smooth, & it didn’t start growing back for a few weeks!
And this razor free shaving cream you are talking about… its called nair… you just rub or spray (it comes in a cream, & a spray.. i reccomend the spray.. less mess) it on leave it on for about 5 minutes, & hop in the shower & rub it off, & as you rub it off your hair will come off as well!

ok I shave my bikini line & I always get razor burns i am doing my best to figure out how to prevent razor burn , but I also get these huge like bumps & they hurt so bad & they are mostly on the creases after about a week they open up & its almost like a pimple does anyone one else get these & what can i do to prevent them cause they are leaving scars & its rather hard to wear swim wear ect anything will help

Hello, I am 16, & I decided to start shaving. I want to know any recommended products for the following:
Razors
Shaving Cream
Aftershave

I have really sensitive skin & no matter what type of razor/shaving cream I use, I always manage to get a not-so-fun case of razor burn. Waxing has always been an alternative that I used to do, but it’s hard to find someone who knows what they’re doing & does it well. So, any ideas as to what to put on areas either directly after shaving or a day after to prevent/decrease razor burn? Thanks!!
