often when I shave with a razor afterwards I break out with all these pimples where my beard was. How can I make them go away?

I literally just shaved my legs about 4 hours ago & I can feel tiny little prickles on my legs. It’s so terribly annoying & this always happens to me. I put on lotion right after I get out of the shower.
I also shave every other day, sometimes even 3 days in between shaves. I change my razor almost every week & I use Men’s Gillette Fusion which has 5 blades on it.

Im going camping soon & its for a few days. And its beach camping so I’m in my swimsuit prettty much the whole time. Is there any way the hair on my legs wont grow back as fast? Cause lets face it, theres no real place to shave unless i want a razor burn.

I just got a tat on my ankle above the ankle bone & wanted to know after a few weeks when I can shave my legs can I shave with a razor over it or is it best to use cream hair remover like Nair?

To start i have almost black hair so my stubble is very noticeable & i was wondering if there is a way to eliminate that with just a razor & normal shaving cream/gel.

Hey, most everytime i shave my pubic hair, in the next day i get very itchy red bumps. I use shaving cream & a sharp razor, but i still get bumps. Any particular way to shave like in which direction to prevent red bumps?

i shaved my beard off like 2 dayz ago nd i got razor bumps from shaving. i wanna buy a razor bump solutuion to make the razor bumps go away, but i wanna know if i kan stop using the razor bump solutin after the bumps go away or if i have to kontinue using the solution foreva?

I use a Venus razor & a shaving gel to avoid itchy,red, looking spots. I have read in magazines to use body srub to get rid of the dead cells before shaving because if you do, then you can get the red spots. However, that did not seem to work for me. My skin is fairly tanned because I go tanning all the time but I still can not get rid of those red looking spots. What is a way to avoid those red spots on my legs?

I actually stopped using a razor because of this & went to an electric razor however I left me elec razor at home while heading back to school. I shave right after showering & let shaving cream “soak” in for about 3 min. I also do use Neutrogena Razor Defense Post Shave Lotion immediately after shaving.

I heard soaking shaving razor in vodka does those kinds of wonders. I’m wondering if rubbing alcohol does the same, or does it like make the razor corrode/rust faster? I’ve seen that alcohol volumes for vodka is in the 35-50% range, & rubbing alcohols in 70-95% range. What difference would it make to soak the razor in higher volume of alcohol compared to lower?

Avoid products formullatted with alcohol… Most of the times, the problem is that we are using products containing mineral oil & alcohol & fragrances these all are very damaging for our skin’s health…. mineral oil because it is an ingredient that is derivated form petroleum….it will be like using car oil & exposing your self to the sun in fact it is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (1st thing will be the sun) using fragrances or chemicals or dyes are known irritants & can cause allergic reactions. what i use to shave my legs would be a face wash formulatted without these i have told you about … it is called Nutrimin-C RE9 Face wash: look for it at the left margin under anti-aging…. my husband & i use it & it works WOW….I know it is a face wash but honestly it is great & leaves your skin smooth & there is also a mens line which is great & has a facial scrub where men could see the difference & loose that dull appearance sometimes we have on our skin from the absence of exfoliating ……. & after that you can put their body lotion fast without waiting for it will not give you a reaction or sting…. http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com

Hi everytime i shave my bikini area to make it look neat i get painful itchy razor bumps that hurt, how do i stop this? & what does it come from?
my underarms & legs never have this issue, should i use a different method of hair removal for this area?

i wouldnt really.
shave downwards & not upwards, it can sometimes prevent it lol. dont ask how i know that lol. xx

Hi guys, im 22, & for the last two years I’ve been shaving with a beard trimmer – keeping my beard at a .5 length. It was so much easier, & I haven’t had any spots for the last few years. I wash my face with soap each day, but dont use any other products. A new job requires me to be clean shaven, so I’ve gone back to shaving with a Gillet Fusion razor. I didn’t get any rashes or anything, but after three times I’ve stated to get some spots around my chin .
I’ve been looking through some guides & stuff & they all say to shave with the grain, which I try to do but theres always bits left over that I can only get rid of by shaving against the grain. Once I finish shaving I splash cold water over my face & then pat it dry. Any suggestions? I’ve heard that king of shaves shaving cream might be worth a try? thanks in advance

I shave my legs frequently, since it’s super hot where i live & i have to wear shorts in gym. So i was wondering what is most recommended to put on my legs after i shave.
And another question:
Do you guys prefer Nair/Veet(and stuff like that) or shaving?
If shaving, what razor & shaving cream?
and Which is better, Veet or Nair?
