I don’t want to ask my mom for a razor for down there. Can I just use my regular razor?

how do i get rid of pubic hair area razor bumps? i shave sometimes down there & i can never seem to get rid of them. help??? thanks!

I shave my vagina about once a week, I usually use a new razor & a shaving cream, & even as careful as i am, I always end up bleeding, & getting razor burn, any suggestions?

ooookay. i’ve never shaved down there before & it frankly never bothered me … wearing bikinis were a bit bothersome but i was thinking of waxing it. i wanted to use NADS b/c of the good reviews on it …. but i shaved it yesterday …
question 1:
is it ok i shaved a lot of it, but left some, in a small, neat triangular patch? i’ve heard some ppl have different preferences but i’m not sure how to deal with …. oh i’m 16 btw. so you know =/ …

so after doing it, & yes i lathered heavily w/ razor burn protection skintimate shaving gel .. it bled .. & I FREAKED OUT! .. i had dots of blood spurting out of nowhere & i’m going, WTF! then it started to sting badly. so i applied cocoa butter lotion on it …. idk what to do! what should i do?
the burn hurts, the afterward skin is soft, but it’s starting to look red, (looks like pinprick red spots maybe from the blood) & i see dark spots, prob. the stubs .. what now?? i want smooth skin, less dark spots .. =’[ help!!

i shave in the moring & by the afternoon my legs are prickley again. Help.

I used shaving foam & a brand new wilkinson sword female razor, & I went in the direction of hair growth, then the opposite direction, but it really hurt when I went in the opposite direction, & caused me to bleed D:
What can I do to get a perfectly smooth finish without it hurting like this?
How often should I shave down there?
Is there a shaving gel/foam especially for shaving down there, that works really well?

i dont want a clean shave so how do i make sure i can get the stubble look…do i need a electric razor or something?

i wouldnt really.
shave downwards & not upwards, it can sometimes prevent it lol. dont ask how i know that lol. xx

I need a little help, ladies. I want to purchase a somewhat cheap razor that’s good for shaving “down there” but it doesnt have to be a razor especially for there, since I want to also use it to shave my legs with. Does anyone know a good brand or name of a razor? Thanks!!

Also if you still decide you want to shave when you do it just make sure the hair is grown out enough, try not to go against the grain, use really warm/hot water so that it opens up the skin making it easier to shave, definatly good sensitive skin shaving lotion, right after i usually use neutrogena skin cleanser (the stuff you use on your face. i know it sounds weird but it works wonders for me) & then of course calming lotion.

how come i can shave under my arms & it be smooth but if i try to shave down htere i get rashy nd horrible??
like iv used foams, oils, shavin with/ against th growth…
can anyone shave & get a smooth clean result, or does everyone wax??

I don’t shave up because that hurts & makes me get little cuts everywhere, & it makes my razor burn 20,000,000 times worse.
But even when I shave downwards I get really bad razor burn & sometimes ingrown hairs.
I use BikiniZone & sensitive skin razors & shaving cream.
I put lotion on it 2 times a day,
but nothing seems to be working.
Any suggestions?!!?

but I still sweat ,which is accompied by the smell. I’ve been to my doctor & he says I’m just a heavy “perspirer”. I’ve tried everything from powder, foams, towelettes, douches, etc. but nothing really helps. I am very self conscience about this. Any ideas?

this is a really awkward question, but i albsolutley hate razor burn. it looks gross & bumpy & makes you look like you have a disease. how can i get rid of it!

Hi, I’m 18 & have never shaved down there before. I want to do it because, for me, I’m finding it increasingly unhygienic, quite itchy & I’m always conscious when I’m in a swim suit. I feel disgusting with it. So can I have suggestions how to shave down there without hurting myself or causing much irritation. Like do I trim it first, then shave? Should I use any foams or creams? Any suggestions would help!
And, after it grows back a little, I want to try home waxing it (I don’t mind wax), is this advisable? Please add anything you think will help!

I’ve been shaving “down there” for a couple years now, & it’s extremely rare that there is absolute smoothness, with no stubble. (It’s the same with my underarms.)
I’ve tried going with the grain, going against the grain, using soaps, using foams, using gels, using just the razor, buying tons of different razors, & none of them & nothing I’ve tried gives me a clean, smooth shave.
I don’t have the money for lazer treatment or the pain tolerance for waxing, so those are out of the question.
Basically, how can I get an amazingly smooth shave “down there” (and under my arms) without waxing or lazer removal?

Will it itch like crazy?!
It is Sunday night now & I have exams on Wednesday & Thursday… I don’t want to be bothered by horrible itchiness. Will it be gone by then?
I shaved just the front but still quite a lot.
