Would shaving cream be sufficient for washing my face? I have acne prone skin & was wondering if I could just use my shaving cream as a face wash instead of buying an additional face wash.

Yes, it works great. I did it to my boyfriend, & everything went ok! He was hair free & smooth, & it didn’t start growing back for a few weeks!
And this razor free shaving cream you are talking about… its called nair… you just rub or spray (it comes in a cream, & a spray.. i reccomend the spray.. less mess) it on leave it on for about 5 minutes, & hop in the shower & rub it off, & as you rub it off your hair will come off as well!

Try hair conditioner. It leaves ur skin super smooth & feeling fresh, ive also noticed that it takes longer for the hair to grow when i use hair conditioner as a shaving cream.

I’m willing to spend money on some leather conditioners, just not too sure what kinds or if it’s necessary. any feed back to steer me in the right way would be appreciated.

Try soaking in a hot bath for a few minutes first. I shave with Aveeno Stress Relief Body wash. The fewer strokes you take, the less razor burn you’ll get.

i leave my shaving equipment in the bathroom at all times, i shave in the bath everyday two days & recently just bought a new pack of blades, i shaved for the first time with a new blade & it was a fine shave leaving no mark , two days later after using it again i developed a skin rash on my neck & the blade kept cutting my face which is rare for me, i suspect that some one used the razor & that’s why i developed the rash so i’m thinking can i pick anything up from that? i’m assuming the blade was used & then a few hours later i used it.

Some have white puss inside. please help. thanks

I used it today. I used shaving cream for my underarms & knees but used some shampoo on the rest of my legs with a venus razor. I was really bored. Don’t ask why I tried it lmao. It worked really well as my usually dry skin is so soft & smooth. I suppose it depends on the type of shampoo (this one was patene pro v strong & shiny shampoo). Has anyone else tried it & is it a good idea in the long term?

For acne scars in particular?

its the foam that takes the hair off without a razor. well, i did that. but now i have little pricks on my face. i did this last night. but the little red marks are still there. is there anything i can do to fix them? im going to the mall around five. its nine in the morning now. i tried some cover up but it doesnt really cover them up, cause the red still shows.

i bought this new Venus Breeze razor (these are the ones that doesn’t need soap or shavin cream coz it’s coz a soap bar strip on the razor itself) & used it today, (this is my first time shaving my legs btw) & now my legs are stinging soooooo bad, it’s kinda like a stinging & burning kinda feeling
it this really bad? like does it mean i’m illergic to the product or anything? should i continue use this?

Hi all,
For 20p a can it seems to be a bargin (especially when my bank balance is going down & prices are going up!) but since I’ve been using it, my razor seems to get clogged up & the mushy stuff in the blades won’t rise out under the tap!
Remembering my science lessons at school, I know it’s not really a “fair test”. I’ve recently moved back to the UK from Germany so I’m using all different shampoos, shower gels etc etc. Despite this, I don’t think it’s any of them.
ANyone else used it? Was it OK? Same experience? Any ideas on cleaning out my razor blades (they’re exensive [and not tesco ones!] & it’s clogged 3 new ones!

We used to use shaving cream to clean our desks, but it wasn’t just called shaving cream, it WAS shaving cream.

I am a 45 year old man who has just started shaving with a razor everyday, after only using clippers or having a beard my whole life. How long should it take before my skin gets used to it & stops breaking out? Any tips? Thanks.
